And I have already used the printer for months without the "iprint&scan" software. Thanks but I have already done the uninstall/reinstall, like multiple times. If you then decide you need its benefits then re-install that as well and see if it is going to work for you this time around. At this stage I would not install the bundled software, try the printer without it for a week or two and see what your scan results are like without the 'iPrint and Scan' package. Then re-install the printer following the quick install instructions. Just use the default values unless you have some experience with it. Revo is a free download available from BC. I might even go as far as to install the Revo uninstaller to get any last bits and pieces of my system. If the package doesn't come with an uninstaller visible in the start menu use the control panel (type 'control' into the search box and click on 'Control panel app') item 'Programs and features'. The normal immediate action drill when a printer causes problems is to completely uninstall all the printer software and re-install.
